Annual Conference of Luvo Networks

On the occasion of the annual network conference of the Luvo networks on 26 and 27 November 2019, the IfM presents the lecture "Digitisation of movements and application examples" as part of a workshop on the topic of project work in the age of digitisation. Furthermore, the new network MoniCareTex, in which the IfM is a member, will be presented.

alaska/ModellerStudio 2019.3 released

A new release of the simulation software alaska/ModellerStudio has been published. From this release on, the version number is assigned according to a new system, which allows a better chronological classification of the releases. The version number now consists of the year of release and the sequential number of the version in the respective year. This release is numbered 2019.3, it brings a lot of detail improvements and some bug fixes.

RAMSIS User Conference

At the RAMSIS User Conference in Dresden on 29/30th October the first results in the joint project DELFIN are presented.

4th Saxon Innovation Day

At the 4th Saxon Innovation Day on 8 October 2019 in Leipzig, the institutes of the Saxon Industrial Research Association SIG e.V. present their current developments and research work on the topic Shaping Future Sustainably. Examples are shown in speed science lectures, like "Evaluation of Digital Movements" by the Institute of Mechatronics.


Company Run 2019

The Institute of Mechatronics is starting at the 14th Chemnitz company run with a team of six participants.

XR-Expo

At the XR-Expo (July 3/4, 2019, Stuttgart) the IfM will present current applications for the digitization of human movements at the ART booth. For these applications, motion capture hardware from ART is used in combination with the biomechanical human simulation model Dynamicus from IfM.

alaska 9.7 released

Release 9.7 of the simulation software alaska/ModellerStudio has been released. An essential innovation is an interface to the rolling bearing calculation module from MESYS (www.mesys.ch), a software for technical calculations in mechanical engineering. A further innovation is the significant extension of the functionalities for modelling and high-performance use of contacts between individual bodies in MBS simulation models. 

Hannover Messe 2019

The insys GmbH presents on the Hannover Messe 2019 (01 - 05 April) current results of the R&D activities of the Institut für Mechatronik e.V.
