alaska 9.6 released

Release 9.6 of the simulation software alaska/ModellerStudio has been released. In addition to a large number of detail improvements, the main innovations are the possibility of parallel processing of externally defined forces and the calculation of gravity-induced loads.

Saxon Innovation Day 2018

The motto of the third Innovation Day of the Saxon Industrial Research Association SIG e.V. on 25 October 2018 is At the beginn there's always an idea. Zuse Day 2018

On this years Zuse Day, which will be held regionally, the Instiute of Mechatronics will present some of its latest R&D works together with other institutes of the Zuse-Gemeinschaft on a joint exhibition at the Institut Chemnitzer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau.

The Institute of Mechatronics is starting at the 13th Chemnitz company run with a team of 7 participants.

Recognition as an affiliated institute of the Chemnitz University of Technology

The IfM attained the status of an affiliated institute of the Chemnitz University of Technology by signing the cooperation agreement on June 19, 2018. Objective of the joint work is to create synergies for research and teaching by combining the results of the basic research at the Chemnitz University of Technology and the application-oriented research of the Institute of Mechatronics.

At the innteract2018 conference (28./29. June) at the Chemnitz University of Technology the institute gives a lecture in cooperation with the institute AW & I of the Chemnitz University of Technology on Methods for Measuring and Calculating Joint Torques and Maximum Torque Volumes Using the Example of the Shoulder.

German Innovation Day for SME 2018

At the Innovationstag Mittelstand 2018 of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy we will present simulation software for the analysis of human-technology interactions.

alaska 9.5 released

Release 9.5 of the simulation software alaska/ModellerStudio has been released. In addition to a multitude of detail improvements, the increase of calculation performance and the elimination of some bugs, the functionality of the component alaska/DistributedComputation has been significantly extended.
