The Institute of Mechatronics develops simulation software on the basis of the method of multi-body dynamics. All software components are part of the alaska product family.

One of the major products is the general pupose simulation software alaska/ModellerStudio for the modeling and analysis of technical systems. As extensions to the already comprehensive basic functionality of this software branch-specific extension modules are offered. Important examples are alaska/Wind for the modeling and simulation of the dynamics of wind turbines and the biomechanical human simulation model Dynamicus. 

In addition, application and customer-specific special simulation software, so-called customized software solutions, is developed on the basis of the alaska/SimulationEngine, a class library for the description and analysis of technical systems using the method of multi-body dynamics.

Specific software for the capturing, digitization, simulation and evaluation of human-machine interactions complete the software offer.
