alaska/Dynamicus
alaska/Dynamicus is an extension module to alaska/ModellerStudio for the efficient and comfortable generation and use of human body MBD models in alaska simulation models.
Components of alaska/Dynamicus are
- an extensive body part library with variable definable movement possibilities
- a library for easy generation of anthropometric data using recognized methods from sports science and ergonomics
- efficient and robust methods for motion simulation based on measurement data from tracking systems or external forces
The direct integration of alaska/Dynamicus into the modeling system of alaska/ModellerStudio provides maximum flexibility in changing or extending the model, using different tracking systems and defining application-specific simulation results.
The human model with the associated anthropometry model and the mathematical methods for motion simulation are also the basis of a series of special tools, the Dynamicus Tools. These tools enable the efficient implementation and use of human motion assessment techniques recorded by motion capture systems.
